Selig says change coming to baseball, but offers no specifics – USATODAY.com

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. — Commissioner Bud Selig said Thursday that changes will be made this season but declined to specify them after meeting with a panel of executives, general managers and mangers.

The 14-member committee, formed Dec. 15 at Selig’s request, spent 3½ hours in their first session, discussing 15 to 20 topics, the commissioner said.

“This will be an action committee,” Selig said. “You’ll see some changes.”

The postseason schedule is likely to be modified, but Selig wasn’t divulging how he plans to eliminate the number of days off
